US to Become World's Largest Oil Producer by 2017
NEW YORK – A new report by the International Energy Agency (IEA) predicts the United States will overtake Saudi Arabia and Russia to become the world’s largest producer of oil, the Financial Times reports.  The IEA recognizes how shale is “redrawing the global energy landscape,” the newspaper wrote, a drilling boom that has allowed the U.S. to tap hard-to-get-at oil and gas.According to the IEA yearly world energy outlook published earlier this week, by 2030 “the US, which currently imports around 20% of its total energy needs, becomes all but self-sufficient in net terms — a dramatic reversal of the trend seen in most other energy-importing countries.”The agency said that North America would therefore become a net oil exporter by about 2035, commensurate with its continued production of biofuels.“The U.S., which imported a substantial chunk of oil from the Middle East, will be importing almost nothing from there in a few years’ time,” Fatih Birol, the IEA’s chief economist, said. “That will have implications for oil markets and beyond.”

Tips in our Area of Expertise

  1. Avoid forcefully powering off your computer. This can cause data corruption as your computer will not have time to finish writing to the hard drive.
  2. Defrag your hard drives – The defragmentation utility allows you to sort the data on the hard drive, sequentially; thereby eliminating wasted disk space. Also, this will allow for faster access time, increasing the computer performance.
  3. Clean your hard drives – Disk cleanup allows you to delete unnecessary files. Such as temporary files, downloaded office files, temporary program files, contents of the recycle bin, and a few others; selectively.

New Enhancements and Features

Triple E Data Manager will now support ACH
Lower your receivables by setting up ACH with your bank  Data Manager is capable of exporting the information that you need to process the ACH payments.
ACH payments are electronic payments made through the Automated Clearing House (ACH) Network. Using ACH payments can help reduce errors, speed things up, and save resources. Let’s cover the basics of ACH payments for businesses and consumers
Basics of ACH Payments
ACH payments are simply electronic transfers from one account to another.
Because they’re electronic, ACH payments use fewer resources (paper, ink, fuel to transport checks, etc). In addition, ACH payments make it easier to keep track of finances. Instead of generic check information on a bank statement, you see the other party’s name if you’ve used an ACH payment. Then it’s easier to categorize the transaction with your financial software.
ACH payments can be electronic from start-to-finish, or they can happen when a paper check is converted and processed electronically.
Why Businesses Like ACH Payments
Businesses benefit from ACH payments. There’s no need to wait for customers to write checks and have them lost in the mail. ACH payments are received more quickly and reliably, and there’s no need to forward checks to the bank and wait for processing.
Why Consumers Like ACH Payments
Consumers also benefit from ACH payments. There’s no need to write checks and get them into the mail on time. If using automatic ACH payments, they do not need to keep an eye out for bills – everything runs on autopilot for better or worse.

Performance Increase
New speed and search ability enhancements to the Customers, Inventory and Sales List tables. These tables will now load up instantly so you will not have to wait 10+ seconds for all of the records to load. Sites that have a very large number of Customers, Inventory or Sales will see the biggest performance increases. Additionally, a new search feature enhancement allows the usage of the ‘%’ character to search for matching text contained within a searchable column.

New Products and Services
We are continuing to improve our interfaces with external system. We now support automated cardlock exports to Agtrax. Our iRely/Summit export now supports automated fuel grade movement, item sales movement, merchandise category movement, tax level movement, and miscellaneous movement. Please contact our sales team if you would like to upgrade to automated exports. If you are an existing Agris or Agvantage customer and would like to fully interface to your Triple E system, please contact our Support team as we are interested in enhancing our standardized interface to handle all proprietary data as well as a full c store environment for these back office partners.

Please note that with the release of Windows 8, we have not yet validated our software on that platform. Please do not purchase or upgrade any systems to Windows 8 if the systems are for use with our Datamanager.
