Changing Your Password

When receiving your Triple E products (CP720, eSite, Registers and/or Pedestals), it is very important that the passwords be changed on the Windows accounts you will be using to log in (Administrator, SiteController, cpController, etc). We use a basic default password on all of the machines that is easy to remember, but also easy for a hacker to decrypt.
To change your passwords:

1. Click on the Start button
2. Open Control Panel
3. Open User Accounts
4. Click on the user you will be changing the password for
5. Click on the button “Reset Password…”
6. Type in a new password, then Confirm the new password
7. Click OK
8. Remember your new password: you will need this to log in the next time

 
When you are finished changing your passwords, notify Triple E so that we can update our own records to be able to support your sites.

• You can retrieve the lost files any time you need them.
