Tips in our Area of Expertise
*Avoid forcefully powering off your SiteController or CP720. You can restart by going to Start~Shut Down~Restart. This can cause data corruption as your computer will not have time to finish writing to the hard drive.
*Scan with an antivirus regularly. Everyone should have antivirus software that loads when their computer starts. The best typre of protection is continuous monitoring from a dedicated antivirus program. Also make sure the antivirus program is set to update automatically.
New Enhancements and Features
Over the past year our development team has made many new changes and enhancements to all of the products that we offer.
Some of the changes are as follows:
Reports
*Added the ability for customer to add their own custom company logo to each crystal report
*Reports can now be sent to a secondary 'Hidden' list from within DataManager. This allows customers to sort their reports into two different categories.
New Applications Developed
*Combo Items/ Mix and Match configuration application to create custom combo promotions
*Moblie Inventory manager application on the Intermec handheld device
*Fuel Control Termial Application
*Central fuel pricing module to allow pricing at home office to synch down to sites.
New Features
*Register Find screen has a dynamic seach for items, can search for text in any part of the item name.
*DataManager is not significantly faster.
*Added support for 14 digit barcodes including GS1 Databar and ISBN codes
*Pedestal has an installer/ support diagnostic mode now where various health values are visible on the 2 line display.
*Made the register software more robust and less prone to errors
*Added the ability to move prepay fuel items form one dispenser to another
*Customer pricing discounts can be applied to any card type and any bin range
*Added tank period tracking support with Veeder Root on NexGen
*Blended fuel product inventory tracking is now done properly based on the rations of the blended products
Troubleshooting Tips
Are you having an issue with the Triple E System?
* Does a restart of the program (DataManager, Register, OneTouchSync, etc.) fix the problem?
* Does a restart of the SiteController, CP720, Register, or Pedestal computer fix the problem?
* Are all of your applications started on your SiteController (esController and ccEngine) or your CP720 (cpController and ccEngine)?
* If you are having trouble swiping a card, have you tried placing a plastic bag over the card and re-swiped it?
