U.S. banks… are in the process of replacing tens of millions of old magnetic strip credit and debit cards with new cards that are equipped with computer chips…The problem is that merchants need the right equipment to accept the cards embedded with chips. Many stores have been slow to upgrade their equipment, despite the October 2015 deadline. Read more from CDAPress here.

Troubleshooting Tip 
 

 
If you are using an export from the Triple E software into your back office software, and you cannot find the file that Triple E created, it may be that the EEE Plugin Scheduler is frozen.
To unfreeze the EEE Plugin Scheduler, please follow these steps:
 
1. Click on the Start button on your computer

2. In “Search Programs and Files”, type in Services.MSC

3. Click on the program “Services.MSC” that shows up in the search

4. Locate the service “EEEPluginScheduler”

5. Right-click on the service “EEEPluginScheduler” and click on “Restart”

6. Wait for the file to be generated
